Improving communication and community buy-in to threatened species conservation

Project Leaders: Sarah Bekessy, Georgia Garrard

Local communities play an important role in threatened species recovery and this project will explore the best ways to involve them, as well as opportunities for changing attitudes and behaviour. Social research will take place based on a range of landscape planning and species management case studies, with the aim of strengthening the social licence for conservation.
