Rachel Morgain is knowledge specialist and anthropologist with extensive experience in research environments and working at the interface of research and
public policy.
She comes to the NESP Threatened Species Recovery Hub from the Australian Academy of Science, and has previously worked in policy-related research
in two Australian Government departments. Her research background includes interests in environmental anthropology, science communication and the social
contexts and implications of science and technology.
Prior to this, she has undertaken research in radio astronomy, developed software for a geological tech-transfer company and operated a 50T ore transport
truck.
Rachel works across the Hub from her base at the Australian National University.
