Dr Peter Kyne

Peter Kyne's research interests focus on the conservation of marine and freshwater systems, particularly on the collection of life history and ecological information to guide the management and conservation of biodiversity, and assess population status and extinction risk.

His current research focuses on the management and recovery of threatened species in northern Australia, in particular, sawfishes and river sharks. Peter's additional research activities include monitoring and managing threatened shorebird and terrestrial bird species.
